DiskSniper is a storage deal discovery website. It helps visitors browse drive listings and follow outbound affiliate links to third-party seller pages.

Information We Collect

DiskSniper does not currently offer user accounts, checkout, direct uploads, tracking shipping information, or shipping charge calculations. The site itself is designed to operate with minimal personal data collection.

At this stage, DiskSniper may process limited technical data such as:

• basic server logs from the hosting provider. Your IP address may be logged and stored for up to 30 days for debugging and abuse prevention purposes.
• request metadata such as IP address, browser, and timestamp
• affiliate attribution parameters used for outbound eBay links

How Listing Data Works

Listing data shown on DiskSniper is pulled from third-party marketplaces, currently focused on eBay. This data is used to display product titles, prices, if the listing charges for shipping or not, images, and related marketplace metadata.

Affiliate Links

DiskSniper contains affiliate links. If you click a listing and complete a qualifying transaction on a third-party marketplace, DiskSniper may receive a commission or other referral-based compensation at no additional cost to you.

When you leave DiskSniper for a marketplace such as eBay or Amazon, that third party may collect data according to its own privacy policy, cookie practices, and account systems.

DiskSniper is an independent website and informational listing service. It is not operated by, affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay Inc., Amazon, or any marketplace seller unless expressly stated otherwise. References to third-party company names, product names, service names, logos, and trademarks are used solely for identification and descriptive purposes, and all such marks remain the property of their respective owners.

Cookies and Tracking

DiskSniper does not currently provide its own account-based tracking features, therefore, the public portions of diskSniper do not set cookies. Third-party marketplaces reached through outbound links may use cookies, session tracking, or attribution systems once you arrive on their sites.

DiskSniper also uses a privacy-focused analytics service to understand aggregate website activity, such as page views, referring sites, broad device and browser information, and general traffic trends. This analytics implementation is configured without cookies and is not used to track individual visitors across unrelated websites.

Analytics data is used for internal measurement, site performance review, and product improvement. DiskSniper does not use this analytics implementation to build advertising profiles or to identify visitors by name.

Data Retention

DiskSniper stores normalized marketplace listing data to operate the deal board. This data is product and listing metadata, not a customer account database.

Children's Privacy

DiskSniper is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
